Love a spritz? So do I. Check out this Lychee Sunrise Spritz.
• Cucumber: I like English cucumbers. But any variety is fine. Blend it up and strain it. (Here’s my favorite little blender.)
• Herbs: A few sprigs of whatever fresh herbs you have—mint, basil, thyme, parsley, anything.
• Vodka: If you don’t like vodka, feel free to use gin or tequila. Or skip it if you’re making a mocktail (details below).
• Lime: The juice goes into the spritz mixture. And the peel goes into the herb simple syrup. This adds a bright splash of acidity. Lemon can also get the job done.
• Sparkling water: Sparkling water, club soda, seltzer, even Prosecco will work. You just want something fizzy and effervescent.
Definitely! You can simply leave out the alcohol or replace it another liquid from the ingredient list.
Totally. Scale up the amounts as needed. In a resealable container, combine the vodka, cucumber juice, lime juice, and herb garden simple syrup. The sparkling water must be added at the time of serving.
