From classic luggage to on-the-go beauty routines, here is the essential travel checklist for hot girls.

Carry-On Suitcase

This one is probably at the top of your essential travel checklist. I have the Monos Carry-On Pro in midnight black. It’s sleek, rolls like a dream, and goes with every outfit. That said, choosing style over substance comes with a cost.

Like most hard-shell luggage, this option scuffs like a bitch. And you can’t fit anywhere near the amount of stuff as a soft-sided suitcase can.

But some sacrifices are worth making.

Personal Item

When I need to be practical, I use the Away Everywhere Bag in jet black. It’s thoughtfully designed, with plenty of compartments and a trolley sleeve

I also own and love the Naghedi St. Barths Tote in ecru. This is a more stylish option, essentially a big empty bucket, which does requires the use of numerous mini bags and pouches.

Compression Packing Cubes

If you’re the type of person who likes to travel with a carry-on and personal item only, packing cubes are your best friend.

Right now, I use a basic neutral set from Amazon. It comes with a lot of containers (I like having options) and is pretty affordable. But I have my eye on some chicer choices.

Travel Bottles

This is my personal opinion but…the majority of travel bottles out there are WAY too big. I keep things small and compact so I can bring MANY different products.

Water Bottle

My favorite water bottle for traveling (and commuting in the city) is the 16-ounce Zojirushi. It’s slim, has a leak-proof lock, and keeps liquids cold. But the best feature is the attached lid, which protects the drinking spout and opens with the push of a button.

Travel Outfit

I like having a designated travel outfit (when space allows), separate from the clothes I specifically packed for the trip. And I wear the same one to and from my destination. It needs to be comfortable. But it needs to look put together.

Silk Eye Mask

Another beauty sleep habit I refuse to travel without. It protects against eye wrinkles (great for side sleepers) and block light (perfect for naps on the plane).

House Slippers

I wear slippers at home and I’ll wear them in a hotel. I don’t care if it’s a 5-star hotel or a royal palace, my bare feet won’t be making direct contact with the floor.
