Lychee Sunrise Spritz

Sparkling water or club soda
Canned lychees, for garnish
Lychee Simple Syrup
One
(20-oz) can lychee in syrup
1 1/3
cups
(166g) granulated sugar
Instructions
For the lychee sunrise spritz
Combine the tequila, orange juice, lemon juice, and lychee simple syrup. You can either shake or stir this.
Fill a beverage glass (see note) with ice and add the grenadine. Pour in the tequila mixer and top with sparkling water. Garnish with reserved lychee.
For the lychee simple syrup
Place a medium sieve over a small saucepan. Strain the liquid into the saucepan. Reserve the lychee fruit.
To the saucepan with the canned liquid, add the sugar. Heat on the stovetop until the sugar is dissolved. Cool completely.
Notes
A standard wine glass is a bit small for this cocktail. Use a large wine glass or another beverage glass (around 15 oz).
