6 slices of white bread cut into small cubes. About ½ inch pieces.
1 teaspoon dry mustard
½ teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add the sausage to a large skillet over medium heat and start to break up into pieces. Add in the sage and stir around. Cook until browned, about 11-13 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to drain and set aside.
Mix eggs, milk, mustard, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
Add in the sausage, bread cubes, and cheese and stir well to combine and coat evenly.
Transfer mixture to a 13 x 9 inch baking dish and cover with plastic wrap. Keep in the fridge overnight.
The next day, bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for 50-55 min. Let it cool for 10 min before serving to allow the egg to set completely.
